About Me
I’m Henry North, a freelance journalist, podcast host, and a keen traveller with a passion for storytelling and exploring global perspectives. My ambition is tell compelling stories from around the world.
I’ve travled extensively across Australasia, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America, experiences that have broadened my understanding of different cultures. Along the way, I worked as a snowboard instructor, developing a love for the outdoors.
In addition to freelancing, I host a podcast called Pub Politics, where I explore political topics in an engaging and accessible way, combining insightful discussions with a relaxed atmosphere.
I hold an MA in International Journalism for Digital Media from the University of Salford, where I specialised in multi-media reporting techniques. I also have a joint honours degree in Philosophy and Politics from the University of York, which gave me a strong foundation in critical thinking and global affairs.
With a basic level of Spanish, I am working to expand my ability to report in multiple countries and connect with Spanish-speaking audiences.
